Summer-Sea Design and Blue Phosphorescent Details
Inspired by the glow of bioluminescent plankton, phosphorescent resin components in the face emit a gentle blue glow in darkness. The white and blue color scheme reflects the changing appearance of a beach from daylight to night, giving the distinctive 6900 face a different character after dark.
A separate Super Illuminator LED backlight illuminates the digital display for reading the time in low light. The LED is white and includes an afterglow function.
Digital Quartz Performance
CASIO Module 3529 provides battery-powered quartz timekeeping with an accuracy of ±15 seconds per month at normal temperature. Practical functions include a stopwatch, an auto-repeat countdown timer, a multi-function alarm, an hourly time signal and a full auto-calendar through 2099.
The flash alert provides a visual indication when the alarm, hourly time signal or countdown timer sounds. The display also supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.
Shock-Resistant Resin Construction
The resin case, bezel and band are paired with mineral glass and G-SHOCK's shock-resistant construction. The case measures 53.2 × 50.0 × 18.7 mm in length, width and thickness, and the watch weighs 67 g. Water resistance is rated at 20 bar.
