Notes: [Precautions for use]
Matcha is a food that discolors easily and is sensitive to high temperatures, high humidity, sunlight, and odor transfer. Please handle with care.
・Low temperatures are more effective for maintaining quality. We recommend storing in the refrigerator or freezer. When using, please return to room temperature completely before opening to prevent condensation due to temperature differences.
・If stored in the refrigerator without sealing after opening, the quality may deteriorate rapidly due to abnormal odors and condensation caused by temperature differences. Store in an airtight container at room temperature and use as soon as possible.
・Matcha has very fine particles and tends to harden due to static electricity. Sift it through a sieve just before use. Because it easily absorbs moisture and water, matcha sprinkled on Japanese or Western sweets may become wet (weeping) over time.
・Yamamasa Koyamaen's matcha is a natural green color that does not contain additives, so it may lose its flavor or become reddish when heated. In addition, it may fade due to light if left in a showcase for a long time.
・To maintain quality, we seal oxygen absorbers in cans and bags. If you are putting bagged matcha directly into the work process, be careful not to accidentally put in an oxygen absorber. The oxygen absorber is made of a packaging material that is harmless even if it comes into direct contact with matcha.
