SEIKO PRESAGE SARF003 Prestige Line Sharp Edged Series
The SEIKO PRESAGE SARF003 combines a Tokiwa green dial with the angular case and bracelet design of the Sharp Edged Series. This Japanese Domestic Market model features automatic Caliber 6R64, GMT functionality, a pointer date display and a power reserve indicator.
Tokiwa Green Dial with Asanoha Pattern
The dial takes its color from Tokiwa, a traditional Japanese green associated with evergreen foliage. Its textured surface features the geometric Asanoha hemp-leaf pattern, formed by intersecting lines that reflect light in different directions.
A contrasting GMT hand works with the two-tone dial ring to help distinguish daytime from nighttime. The pointer date display sits at 6 o'clock, while the power reserve indicator is positioned at 9 o'clock. LumiBrite on the hands and indices supports visibility in low light.
Automatic GMT Caliber 6R64
The 29-jewel Caliber 6R64 supports automatic and manual winding, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides approximately 45 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The 24-hour GMT hand allows a second time zone to be displayed. The local hour hand can be adjusted independently in one-hour increments without stopping the watch, with the date moving in tandem. A stop-seconds function is also provided for setting the time.
Sharp-Edged Stainless-Steel Construction
The case and bracelet combine polished and brushed surfaces to emphasize their angular design. Both are treated with SEIKO's DiaShield surface coating to help protect against everyday scratches.
The case measures 49.2 × 42.2 × 13.7 mm in length, width and thickness. Sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on its inner surface protects the dial, while the see-through screw case-back offers a view of the movement.
The bracelet uses a three-fold clasp with push-button release. Water resistance is rated at 10 bar, and the watch also has magnetic resistance.
