The white LED Super Illuminator backlight includes an afterglow function to help you read the display in low light. Quartz accuracy is rated at ±15 seconds per month, with an approximate battery life of 3 years using a CR1616 battery.
The factory-installed battery is used to check the watch’s functions and performance, so it may require replacement sooner than the stated battery life.
