Carbon-Reinforced Band and Titanium Components
Developed jointly with Mizuno Technics, the band incorporates carbon fiber within resin for enhanced tensile durability. Reinforcement extends to the areas around the spring bars and buckle, as well as the band keeper. The visible carbon fiber texture gives the black exterior its distinctive appearance.
The case and bezel are resin, while titanium is used for metal components including the case back, side buttons and buckle. The forged titanium case back contributes to the watch's shock-resistant, durable construction. Mineral glass protects the digital display.
Tough Solar and MULTIBAND 6 Timekeeping
Tough Solar uses sunlight and artificial light to charge a rechargeable battery. From a full charge, the watch operates for approximately 10 months with normal function use, or approximately 22 months with power saving, without further exposure to light.
MULTIBAND 6 supports standard time signals transmitted from Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and China. Automatic and manual reception are available with a supported Home City setting and suitable reception conditions. When signal reception is unavailable, the watch can be set manually and maintains an average accuracy of ±15 seconds per month.
Practical Digital Functions
World time covers 48 cities across 31 time zones plus UTC, with five selectable World Time favorites and Home Time swapping. A 24-hour stopwatch, a countdown timer and five daily alarms support everyday timekeeping needs.
The white LED Super Illuminator provides full-auto illumination, afterglow and a choice of 1.5- or 3-second lighting. Selectable date formats and six weekday display languages allow the display to be configured to your preference.
