The CASIO G-SHOCK DW-5600STT-1JR is a Japanese Domestic Market collaboration model created with the Netflix series STRANGER THINGS. Based on the iconic square DW-5600, the watch expresses the mysterious parallel dimension known as the Upside Down through its dial graphics, negative display and distinctive backlight treatment.
Upside Down-Inspired Design
The dial incorporates vine graphics associated with Vecna and the dark world of the Upside Down. The letter “A” in the “LED BACK LIGHT” marking is printed upside down, symbolising the connection between the ordinary world and its threatening parallel dimension.
Red Backlight Effect
Activating the Super Illuminator produces a red-coloured visual effect inspired by the series. While CASIO’s technical specification identifies the light source as a white LED, the collaboration-specific display treatment creates the characteristic red appearance.
Exclusive Collaboration Details
The band keeper is printed with “011,” representing the character Eleven, while the stainless-steel case back is engraved with the STRANGER THINGS logo. The watch is supplied in a dedicated package featuring the Demogorgon and vine imagery from the series.
