The CASIO SAN-100H-7BJR, known in Japan as “Sa-dokei,” is an analog watch created specifically for sauna enthusiasts. It combines a dedicated 12-minute sauna timer with heat-resistant and moisture-resistant construction in a lightweight white-and-orange design.
Dedicated 12-Minute Sauna Mode
A single button switches the watch between the regular timekeeping mode and the dedicated sauna mode. The sauna timer measures elapsed time in one-second increments for up to 12 minutes, allowing the wearer to monitor a sauna session without relying on a wall clock or smartphone.
Designed for High-Temperature Environments
The watch is designed for use in saunas with a set temperature of up to 100°C when worn on the wrist for no longer than 15 minutes. It uses a heat-resistant battery and a structure that helps limit the transfer of heat to temperature-sensitive internal components.
Low-Moisture-Permeability Resin
The case and case back are made from specially selected low-moisture-permeability resin. This helps reduce moisture penetration and internal fogging in the hot and humid environment of a sauna. Resin exterior components also reduce the risk associated with heated metal surfaces.
Sauna Locker-Key Inspired Band
The orange coiled urethane band is inspired by the wrist keys commonly used for sauna and public-bath lockers in Japan. Its flexible design provides an adjustable, free-size fit for a wide range of wrist sizes.
