The CITIZEN ATTESA AT8040-57A is a Japanese Domestic Market men's watch combining a white dial with a silver-tone Super Titanium case and bracelet. Eco-Drive light-powered technology, radio-controlled timekeeping and a chronograph provide practical functions in a slim 9.7 mm case.
White Dial and Slim Super Titanium Design
The white dial brings together chronograph subdials, day and date indications, and a 24-hour display. Luminous hands and indexes assist visibility in low light. A sapphire crystal with Clarity Coating reduces reflections for a clearer view of the dial.
The Super Titanium case and bracelet feature Duratect titanium carbide surface treatment for enhanced scratch resistance. A three-fold push-button clasp with a Fit Adjuster allows convenient fine adjustment of the bracelet fit.
Eco-Drive and Radio-Controlled Performance
Caliber H804 converts light into electrical energy stored in a rechargeable battery. Standard time signals from Japan, China, the United States and Germany automatically correct the time and calendar when reception conditions permit.
From a full charge without further light exposure, operating time is approximately 6 months during normal use or approximately 10 months with power saving activated. When standard time signals are not received, the specified accuracy is approximately ±15 seconds per month.
Direct Flight World Time and Chronograph
Direct Flight allows the local time to be selected using the crown, with world time covering 26 cities. The chronograph measures elapsed time in 1/20-second increments for up to 60 minutes.
A perpetual calendar handles month lengths and leap years automatically. Additional functions include daylight saving time settings, a charge level indicator and insufficient charge warning. Perfex Multi 3000 combines magnetic resistance, shock detection, automatic hand correction and four-region radio reception.
