The CITIZEN xC hikari collection ES9503-01E is an elegant Square 2way women’s watch combining a compact rectangular case with a refined black dial and interchangeable leather straps. Its lightweight Super Titanium case features CITIZEN’s Duratect Amber Yellow surface treatment, creating a warm gold-tone finish that contrasts beautifully with the black dial.
Powered by CITIZEN’s light-powered Eco-Drive technology, the watch receives standard time signals in Japan, China, Europe and North America. It automatically corrects the displayed time and calendar when a compatible signal is available, while maintaining an accuracy of approximately ±15 seconds per month when no signal is received.
Black Dial with Radiating Pattern
A radiating pattern inspired by beams of light gives the black dial depth and subtle tonal variation. White Roman numeral hour markers provide clear visibility, while yellow-gold-tone cut details at 12, 6 and 9 o’clock add an elegant contrast. Luminous material on the hands helps maintain visibility in dim conditions.
Square 2way Interchangeable Strap Design
The watch includes two black cowhide leather straps with different textures. One has an embossed finish for a classic appearance, while the other has an elegant glossy finish. CITIZEN’s interchangeable construction allows the strap to be removed and replaced without conventional watchmaking tools, making it easy to coordinate the watch with different outfits and occasions.
Eco-Drive Radio-Controlled Calibre H060
Calibre H060 converts natural and artificial light into electrical energy, eliminating the need for regular battery replacement. When fully charged, the watch can operate for approximately three years with the power-saving function activated.
The movement supports radio-controlled time correction across four regions and five transmitting stations covering Japan, China, Europe and North America. It also provides world time for 24 time differences, a perpetual calendar, a date display, summer-time settings, a charge-level indicator and automatic or manual signal reception.
Lightweight Super Titanium Case
The 25.0mm-wide case is made from CITIZEN’s proprietary Super Titanium, which is lightweight, resistant to corrosion and treated for improved surface hardness. Despite its radio-controlled functionality, the watch measures only 7.8mm thick and weighs approximately 21g.
Sapphire Crystal and Perfex Protection
The dial is protected by sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating. CITIZEN’s Perfex technology combines JIS Type 1 magnetic resistance, shock detection and automatic hand-position correction to help maintain accurate time display during everyday use.
