Description
CASIO G-SHOCK GW-9400YJ-1JF RANGEMAN Emergency Color
The CASIO G-SHOCK GW-9400YJ-1JF brings yellow emergency-color accents to the rugged RANGEMAN design. Part of the MASTER OF G - LAND series, this Japanese Domestic Market model combines Triple Sensor functions with Tough Solar charging, MULTIBAND 6 radio-controlled timekeeping and a carbon fiber insert band.
Black and Yellow Emergency-Color Design
A black exterior with contrasting yellow accents gives this RANGEMAN its distinctive appearance. The resin case and bezel are paired with a carbon fiber insert band, while metal components are used for the buttons, side screws and band keeper.
The sensor button uses a protective cylinder structure designed for smooth, precise operation. Pressing it recalls the previously used sensor mode, while distinct audible signals help identify sensor operation.
Triple Sensor Outdoor Functions
The watch measures altitude, direction, barometric pressure and temperature. Its digital compass includes bearing memory and magnetic declination correction. The barometer provides a pressure trend graph and a pressure-change information alarm.
Altitude functions include relative altitude measurement, altitude difference tracking and automatic records of maximum altitude, minimum altitude, cumulative ascent and cumulative descent. Manual memory stores up to 40 records containing sensor readings or timestamps. Sunrise and sunset time displays provide additional outdoor information.
Tough Solar and MULTIBAND 6
Tough Solar charges the rechargeable battery using sunlight and artificial light. From a full charge, the watch operates for approximately eight months with normal function use, or approximately 23 months with power saving, without further solar charging.
MULTIBAND 6 supports standard time signals from six transmitters in Japan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and China. Automatic and manual reception are available with a supported Home City setting and suitable reception conditions. Without signal reception, the watch operates at an average accuracy of ±15 seconds per month.
Durable Construction and Practical Timekeeping
The case measures 55.2 × 53.5 × 18.2 mm, and the watch weighs 93 g. Mineral glass, shock-resistant construction and 20 bar water resistance complement its outdoor-focused functions.
Everyday features include world time, a 1,000-hour stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer and five daily alarms. The white LED Super Illuminator provides full-auto lighting, afterglow and selectable 1.5- or 3-second illumination.

Sensor use: The altimeter calculates relative altitude from atmospheric pressure, so weather-related pressure changes can affect readings. For ambient temperature measurement, remove the watch from your wrist and avoid the effects of body heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
Radio reception: Availability depends on location, Home City settings, signal conditions and transmitter operation. Automatic time correction is not available in all regions.
