SEIKO ASTRON NEXTER SBXY105 “Starry Sky” 2026 Limited Edition
The SEIKO ASTRON NEXTER SBXY105 expresses the depth and energy of a swirling galaxy through a distinctive dark turquoise dial and an all-black titanium exterior. Released exclusively for the Japanese market, this individually numbered “Starry Sky” 2026 model is limited to 700 pieces.
Galaxy-Inspired Spiral Dial
The dial features a newly developed stamped spiral pattern that expands outward from its center. Its dark turquoise base and glittering finish evoke stars swirling through the darkness of space, while the black case and bracelet create a dramatic contrast.
Lightweight Black Titanium Construction
The case and bracelet are made from lightweight, corrosion-resistant titanium. A black hard coating enhances scratch resistance and completes the model’s all-black appearance. Mirror-polished center links introduce a subtle reflective accent inspired by the brilliance of a galaxy.
Solar Radio-Controlled Caliber 8B92
SEIKO Caliber 8B92 converts light into electrical energy and receives standard radio signals to correct the displayed time. Radio reception is supported in Japan, China, the United States and Germany, subject to local reception conditions.
When fully charged, the movement operates for approximately six months without additional light exposure or approximately two years with its power-saving function activated. Without successful radio reception, its stated accuracy is an average of ±15 seconds per month.
World Time and Chronograph Functions
The SBXY105 includes world time across 25 time zones, a 24-hour hand and a 1/5-second chronograph capable of measuring up to 60 minutes. Its full-auto calendar is programmed through December 31, 2099.
Sapphire Crystal and Everyday Water Resistance
The dial is protected by a sapphire crystal with SEIKO’s Super-Clear coating. LumiBrite applied to the hands and indexes supports visibility in low-light conditions, while 10-bar water resistance provides practical protection for everyday wear.
Smart Adjuster Bracelet
The titanium bracelet is fitted with a push-button three-fold clasp and a Smart Adjuster mechanism. This system allows the bracelet length to be finely adjusted without using a tool.
Japanese Domestic Limited Edition
The SBXY105 was released on January 9, 2026, as a Japanese domestic-market limited edition of 700 pieces. Each watch has a serial number and a “LIMITED EDITION” inscription on its case back.
