Solar Radio-Controlled Caliber 7B72
SEIKO Caliber 7B72 converts light into electrical energy and automatically corrects the displayed time by receiving terrestrial standard-time radio signals. Reception is supported in Japan, China, the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom.
When fully charged, the watch operates for approximately nine months under normal conditions or approximately two years with power save activated. If no radio signal is received, its stated accuracy is an average of ±15 seconds per month.
Automatic Time and Calendar Functions
The movement provides automatic and manual signal reception, reception-result display, time-difference adjustment and automatic hand-position correction. Its full-auto calendar is programmed through December 31, 2099. Quick-start and overcharge-prevention functions support dependable solar operation.
Stainless-Steel Construction
The stainless-steel case measures 46.1 mm in length, 39.5 mm in width and 9.5 mm in thickness. A sapphire crystal with Super Clear Coating reduces reflections and helps maintain clear dial visibility. The matching stainless-steel bracelet is secured by a push-button three-fold clasp and accommodates wrists up to approximately 195 mm.
The watch provides enhanced water resistance for daily use at 10 bar and confirmed magnetic resistance. Its complete weight is approximately 115 g.
